RISK ANALYST

This is an exciting new opportunity to manage this companies' risk portfolio, and support growth within the company's future plans. You will support lending for small and medium-sized enterprises within the UK market.
THE COMPANY
This company is passionate about small businesses. From starting in 2012 the company is now one of the fastest growing fintech's in Europe. They aim to offer fast loans as soon as business' require money and have already helped more than 100,000 businesses since launching.
THE ROLE
You will be doing the following daily:
- Lead analytical efforts to review risk from the lending book, drive strategy decisions, and monitor processes to ensure changes within strategy.
- Support governance framework for risk management.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure risk expertise across the business.
- Develop dashboards to provide clear insights into the status of loans.
- Work cross-functionally with the data science team to enhance credit monitoring and analysis.
- Working with credit scoring models.
- Work across a range of projects within the business to drive impactful changes.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong numerate background, holding a degree in a STEM subject
- Data analysis experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- SQL and Python coding experience
- The ability to work and collaborate with other members of your team.
