I am supporting Barnsley Council in their recruitment of a temp Family Support Worker in the Disabled Children's Team (DCT)
We are recruiting to one of our DCT family support worker roles to cover sickness. The role involves undertaking short break assessments, short break annual reviews, supervising family time, life story work, and provide support to families where needed. The role is full time and is based at The Cudworth Centre, Carlton Street, Cudworth, Barnsley. There is an expectation that you will be office based at least 3 days per week. So this is hybrid working
Due to the nature of this role you will need to have had experience of this role as below
Substantial experience of multi-agency working to develop integrated services for children and families
Experience of analysing local needs through consultation and planning and developing services to address those needs
Experience of monitoring and evaluating services
Experience of maintaining accurate records
