HR & Payroll Specialist

Role Overview: As an HR & Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and the efficient provision of payroll functions. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records, liaising with external stakeholders, and identifying improvements to enhance the employee experience. You will be instrumental in preparing payroll data and supporting HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process monthly payrolls, ensuring financial reconciliation and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Manage one-off payments, annual compensation reviews, and collaborate with payroll vendors to resolve issues.
  • Deliver accurate annual P11d's, monthly payroll journals, and maintain timely data sharing with HMRC.
  • Conduct data audits and contribute to specifications for new systems, maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and support the HR & Communications Manager in various HR activities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll and HR regulations to ensure compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience or qualification in Payroll / Business Management relevant to UK and IRE payroll (CPP desirable).
  • Full payroll administration experience, including knowledge of legislation, tax regulations, and monthly payroll journals.
  • Human resources administration experience is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy driven. Experience with ADP and Kronos preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel / Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
