Job Description:
Veritas Education is seeking dynamic and reliable Experienced Cover Supervisors to join our expanding team and work in a variety of schools across the Leeds and Bradford area. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment while helping to maintain a high standard of education in local schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher
- Ensure students remain engaged with their work and follow the pre-prepared lesson plans
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies
- Provide support and guidance to students as needed
- Report back to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues that arise during lessons
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a cover supervisor in a school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt to different learning environments and school cultures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for education and supporting student success
