Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a high volume food manufacturer to recruit a Production Supervisor for their South Yorkshire based factory.
Salary: £45,400 per year
Hours:
- Shift 2 on 2 off | 3 on 2 off | 2 on 3 off
- 12 hour shifts 6am to 6pm

Working within the High-Risk Department, the Production Supervisor will manage a team of approximately 40 operatives within their section.
Duties of the Production Supervisor will include:
- Work with Shift Manager and other Supervisors to identify correct levels of resources
- Responsible for creating training plans and delivery, performance meetings and absence management
- Develop manufacturing process through the delivery of cost savings, efficiency, quality, and GMP improvements
- Encourage multi-skilled approach by rotating operatives across production lines where appropriate
- Ensure correct PPE is being worn at all times and challenge where necessary
We would be keen to speak with Production Supervisor with the following skills/experience:
- Previous experience in high-volume food manufacturing
- Proven experience of successfully leading diverse teams
- Knowledge and examples of implementing continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Level 3 in Food Safety
- IOSH Managing Safely
