Rapier Employment are looking for HGV Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client in Didcot.
** Must have at least 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience, along with no more than 9 points on your licence. **
Position:
Class 1 driver - trunking
Pay:
£17.00 - £18.63 per hour
Hours:
Start times will vary. Days and night drivers.
Days:
Available 5 out of 7 days. Weekend availability is required due to nature of the business.
Role includes, and not limited to:
- Transport goods between different locations, ensuring efficient delivery schedules.
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for trunking operations, adhering to company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
- Communicate effectively with the transportation team and other drivers to coordinate trunking operations.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 driving licence with a minimum of 1 year driving experience.
- No more than 9 points on your licence.
- Strong knowledge of road safety and excellent driving skills.
- Available to work weekdays and weekend work.
- Valid CPC card and digital tacho card.
