This Nationwide firm are continuing to grow and have an exciting opportunity for a driven, ambitious graduate who has demonstrated sales and negotiation skills to join either their building solutions or claims division. You will need to be able to build successful relationships with clients and internal teams.

They are looking to recruit a candidate with excellent communication looking to establish a permanent career within the firm**. The main focus of this role is communication, working to targets and looking after each case professionally.**

Duties will involve the following:

  • Ensuring you have the full facts on each case that needs dealing with prior to communicating externally with clients. Some information can be fairly technical so attention to detail is key.
  • Examining documentation to ensure we are in full possession of the facts
  • Liaising with the Surveyor or Civil Engineer who has attended site or analysed the documentation and images provided to move the case on.
  • Entering into discussions/negotiations with the claimant in order to settle the claim
  • Getting the best deal possible for all parties
  • Ensuring you keep the internal system up to date and communicate any issues internally

  • Degree educated
  • Sales experience
  • Experience within the Insurance sector - in a client focused role
  • Strong negotiation skills

HOURS OF WORK: 8:45-5:00pm Monday to Friday with 1 Lunch

STARTING SALARY: Competitive (£24,000 - £28,000 DOE)

HOLIDAY: 25 days plus bank holidays, an extra 16 hours of time off in lieu taken at no more than two-hour slots which equates to the total of 27 days plus bank holidays. An additional day is also given for your Birthday if it falls on a weekday.

This is an office based role Monday to Friday - 9-5.30pm
