We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an Accounts Senior, based in Ashford.
Ideally you will be nearing qualification or will have recently qualified but what is more important is that you have gained experience in preparing year end accounts and tax returns.
You will work with an interesting and varied client portfolio and your main responsibilities will include:
Year End Accounts Preparation:
- Efficiently prepare year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily small limited companies.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Tax Returns:
- Skilfully handle the preparation of tax returns, ensuring timely submission and compliance with tax laws.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
Audit Work – previous experience not required
- Conduct audits for clients in the South East region, working as part of a team, you may be supporting or leading on audits depending on experience
- Collaborate with the audit team to ensure comprehensive and accurate examination of financial records.
Client Portfolio Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and addressing their financial needs.
- Proactively identify opportunities to add value to client businesses.
