Summary
My high-profile Utilities client is looking for an Ansible SME to join their team Based at their Plymouth offices (twice a week on site) on an initial 3-month contract with chance of extensions.
Are you an experienced Ansible expert with a passion for automating Windows Server system admin tasks? Our client, a well-established utilities company in the industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as an Ansible Expert on a temporary basis.
Responsibilities:
- Utilising your expertise to automate Windows Server system admin tasks using Ansible.
- Working with related technologies such as Hypervisor (e.g. mainly VMWare), Microsoft AD, Exchange, storage/SAN, and Firewall
- Collaborating with the team to implement solutions that enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practises to continually improve processes.
Requirements:
- Strong experience as an Ansible expert, with a proven track record of automating Windows Server system admin tasks
- Proficiency in Hypervisor technologies, Microsoft AD, Exchange, storage/SAN, and Firewall
- Experience with both on-premise and cloud environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
