Full time, live out Housekeeper/Carer for family in North East London, £40k gpa depending on experience
Silver & Bow is looking for a full time, live out housekeeper/carer to join a lovely family based near Walthamstow.
The clients are a retired couple caring for their adult son who has a neurological condition. There are times when his symptoms flare up and he needs help with mobility and general day to day tasks.
The position will involve housekeeping tasks such as hoovering, dusting, keeping on top of laundry, running errands and generally keeping the house well organised and tidy.
The caring aspect will mainly involve assisting the parents rather than sole care eg. helping when mobility is difficult, being an extra pair of hands to fetch and carry, the sort of tasks that will make their lives easier as they advance in years.
The role would suit someone who has a background in nursing and some prior experience working in a private setting.
Requirements:
-kind, caring personality
-excellent checkable references
-fluency in both written and spoken English
-a background in nursing is preferable
-housekeeping experience
-ideally a driver
Schedule: 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday, 8 hrs per day
