The Role: As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering high-quality tax services to the firm's corporate clients. You will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, providing strategic tax advice, and ensuring that our clients meet their tax obligations efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee corporate tax compliance for a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying tax-saving opportunities and mitigating tax risks.
- Conduct thorough reviews of corporation tax returns and computations.
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, managing enquiries and disputes effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest tax legislation and industry developments, ensuring clients are informed of any changes that may affect them.
- Collaborate with other departments within the practice to deliver comprehensive financial solutions to clients.
- Mentor and support junior staff, fostering their development and growth within the firm.
About You:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in corporate tax within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
