Dunbar Education is proud to be working with a well-regarded Secondary School in London, seeking a passionate and dedicated Textiles Teacher to join their vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual with a strong background in Textiles to inspire and engage students during for maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Design Technologyand lead engaging classes in DT Textiles GCSE and Fashion and Textiles GCSE and A-Level (Art and Design Specification).
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Textiles lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Encourage creativity and innovation in student projects.
- Contribute to the wider school community and participate in departmental activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status is essential.
- Proven experience teaching Textiles at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Textiles.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
