About Us:

We are a 19-bed residential care home providing high-quality care for the elderly. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents.

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
  • Lead, manage, and inspire the care team to provide exceptional person-centred care.
  • Ensure the home meets all statutory requirements, including health and safety, and safeguarding protocols.
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively to maintain a well-run service.
  • Liaise with residents, families, and external agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes for those in our care.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous managerial experience in a care home setting, or experience as a Deputy Manager looking to step up.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to confidently manage and support staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
  • A compassionate approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care, including a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
