Finance Coordinator
Location: Central London - close to a number of train and tube stations
Job Type: Hybrid (3 days in the office)
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000
My client a an award-winning furniture retailer, looking to recruit a Finance Coordinator to join their growing team.
You will have responsibility of managing day-to-day accounts payable queries, developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers, and overseeing our order fulfilment flow. This role offers flexible, hybrid working and reports directly to the Group Finance Director.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all purchase invoice queries and ensure they are resolved promptly.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers.
- Review key supplier invoices and communicate proposed payment plans.
- Review weekly job analysis reports to maintain accurate order fulfilment flow and reporting within BC.
- Monitor job progress to ensure invoicing is complete, budgeted costs are accounted for, variations are invoiced, and investigate any discrepancies.
- Liaise with staff and other departments to ensure the sales and purchases cycle is maintained.
- Perform additional duties as required by the UK Finance Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a finance department.
- Experience in communicating and maintaining relationships with various business stakeholders.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel.
- Ability to prioritise work and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
