Teaching Assistant - Level 2

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team, working specifically with a Year 3 pupil who requires social and emotional support. This part-time role is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives. The position includes paid lunchtime supervision and is expected to continue until July 2025.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide targeted support to a Year 3 pupil, focusing on social and emotional development.
- Assist with classroom activities and learning processes, under the guidance of the lead teacher.
- Supervise pupils during lunchtime, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to support the pupil's educational and emotional needs.
- Implement strategies to engage and support the pupil effectively throughout the school day.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role or working with children, particularly in providing emotional and social support.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to student development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- SEND experience is desirable but not essential
