Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Crisis CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to work in NHS Derby on a temporary agency contract.
Working Hours:
- Shifts available Monday to Sunday
- Minimum of 4 shifts per week
- Shift timings: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Pay
- Day- £27Ltd an hour (paid via an umbrella)
- £24.43 Paye Inclusive
- £21.80 Paye Exclusive
There are uplifts at weekends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assessment & Treatment: Conduct assessments and provide therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents with a range of mental health needs.
- Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Crisis Intervention: Support children and adolescents in crisis, providing timely intervention and management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with social workers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Safeguarding: Identify and manage safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable young people.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.
- Knowledge of mental health legislation and safeguarding practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- A recognised mental health qualification (RMN, Social Work, or equivalent).
- Experience in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) is preferred.
