Payroll Team Leader

Part Time - 14 hours per week (Ideally split over 3 days, Tuesday 4.5, Wednesday 5, Thursday 4.5, but open to Negotiation)

About the role

As a Payroll Team Leader you will lead a team who provide a professional end to end payroll service to JRF/JRHT and all its employees. Under the direction of the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our monthly employee payrolls are completed accurately and on time.

You will ensure our Auto Enrolment responsibilities are met, and all pension actions are processed in a compliant and timely manner. You will lead the verifying, analysing, and paying of employee's expenses and mileage through the payroll system and ensuring the correct completion of P11d's.

About you

As a Payroll Team leader, you will have experience of successfully managing and supporting a small team. You will have a significant experience of computerised payroll systems and an in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, benefits, auto-enrolment, HMRC regulations including expenses and P11d's. You should have a high level of competency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, excellent attention to detail and be customer focussed in delivering a high-quality service with tact and diplomacy.
