Mechanical Engineer

A client within the Public Sector based in Merseyside is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, permanent position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a M&E consultancy environment.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to provide outstanding M&E designs for a large portfolio

of projects, from small, bespoke schemes to multi-million-pound developments.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Present at tender interviews.
  • Identify potential opportunities.
  • Prepare fee quotes.
  • Prepare of case studies
  • Identify suitable PR opportunities, however small.
  • Prepare budget costs.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require to be HNC or degree qualified. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Autocad/Revit and IES.

It will be essential to be in experiences in the below:

  • Lead schemes from inception through to completion and work to deadlines.
  • Be capable of producing high quality Mechanical Services Design.
  • Be a strong team player, who takes pride in their work and wants to progress their career.
  • Help with the development of younger members of staff.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between £45,000 - £55,000 p/a.
