Job Title: Children's Deputy ManagerLocation: Children of the Mangrove Children's Home, WimbledonSalary:£35,000 - £39,000 per annumHours:Full Time
Job Purpose: Support the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the Children's Home, ensuring a high standard of specialized personal care for young people. Promote a nurturing environment that respects individual needs and rights.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily running of the home, ensuring quality of care and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with relevant professionals and families.
  • Provide exceptional personal care and support to young people, fostering their social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular risk assessments.
  • Facilitate staff recruitment, training, and supervision to maintain a supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to meet the daily educational needs of residents.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a residential care setting, ideally in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
