Job Purpose: Support the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the Children's Home, ensuring a high standard of specialized personal care for young people. Promote a nurturing environment that respects individual needs and rights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily running of the home, ensuring quality of care and compliance with legal requirements.
- Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with relevant professionals and families.
- Provide exceptional personal care and support to young people, fostering their social and emotional wellbeing.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular risk assessments.
- Facilitate staff recruitment, training, and supervision to maintain a supportive environment.
- Collaborate with educational staff to meet the daily educational needs of residents.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a residential care setting, ideally in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
