Job Title: Junior Credit Analyst
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000, depending on experience + generous discretionary bonus & benefits
Location: central London, with WFH options
Our client is a multinational commodities trading group headquartered in London with operations across the world. They are now recruiting a Junior Credit Analyst to join their high performing team. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a quantitative background, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Role:
- Assist the Board and Financial Analyst in ad-hoc projects and internal/external reporting
- Loan/Lease Facility Monitoring
- Reviewing onboarding applications for new corporate counterparties.
- Screening counterparties for money laundering, sanctions and other risks
- Assisting in management of the group credit insurance policy
- Annual reviews of counterparties based on third party credit reports
- Periodic reconciliations of large data sets
- Maintenance of electronic filing records Derivative Counterparty Credit:
- Maintain market research and business intelligence
Requirements:
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or any other strong quantitative background
- Good knowledge of MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint - ability to understand, analyse, manipulate complex models, reports and present results
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant volume of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Knowledge of basic statistics
- Strong attention to detail and scrutiny of all data provided
- Strong ability to analyse large data sets and present conclusions concisely
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English language
