Level 4 Qualified Pensions & Investments Complaint Handler

If you are an experienced Pensions and Investment Complaint Handler, then this is the role for you!

The project is assessing how different pension and investment products were sold to customers while reviewing the customer journey; checking whether correct and appropriate procedures were followed, the right information was provided and whether due diligence was applied. To join this project, the client is looking for contractors who have knowledge and experience within the industry and with the following products: SIPPs, OEICs, ISAs, and Non-ISAs and Bonds. You not only need to be Level 4 qualified, but will also need to be able to show you have dealt with complaints relating to advice and suitability of pensions and investment products when sold.

Location: Remote

Rate: £250 per day (inside IR35)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day

Role:-

  • Review and assess the suitability of Pension and Investment products sold to the customer.
  • Review case handling and complaint handling procedures.
  • Correspond with third parties and customers.
  • Write response letters.
  • Work with pension products, primarily SIPP wrappers containing underlying funds, in both accumulation and decumulation phases.
  • Work with investment products such as OEICs, both ISA and non-ISA, and Onshore and Offshore Bonds.
  • Review complaints related to Venture Capital products like VCTs and EIS schemes and DB pension transfer advice.
  • Conduct case reviews, assess various provider responses, and progress cases through an agreed process flow.
  • Review data and evidence gathered within the scope of customer complaints to assess eligibility.
  • Liaise with relevant third parties via phone when required.
  • Adhere to processes, procedures, and regulatory guidelines such as FCA and COMP rules.
  • Support as an SME
  • Work within a claims management workflow system.
  • Ensure a focus on data protection.

Essential Experience:-

  • Recent experience in reviewing complaints within the Pensions and Investment field is a MUST.
  • Have a Level 4 qualification in Pensions and Investments.
  • Experience as a case handler
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work within demanding deadlines (workflow & time management).
  • Ability to attain and maintain specified quality and production targets.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work with honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness.
