Our client a leading Healthcare Charity is seeking a Interim Head of Finance to join the team for an ongoing contract, 3 Months initally. This Interim Head of Finance position is based close to Kings Cross Central London and offers Hybrid working and benefits.
As the leader of the Finance Team your focus will extend to fostering strong business partnerships and engaging stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified. Candidates available to start at short notice are preferred. This position will be ongoing until a permanent replacement is found.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of annual budgets, financial reporting & modelling. Be the lead for the year-end and audit process. Preparation and monitoring of cash-flow.
- Ensure robust and effective financial systems and processes.
- Prepare financial report papers for the Finance Director, Trustees), management and external auditors as required.
- Assist and advise the directors, service heads, other budget holders and Trustees on financial matters.
- Oversee the management of the Finance Team, including direct line management
- Provide support, direction and constructive feedback for team members through regular 1:1 meetings.
- Comply with the financial regulations when managing and expanding the Finance Team budget.
Person Specification:
- To be a Fully ACA/ CIMA Or ACCA Qualified accountant with at least five years' relevant experience
- Experience Using Sun Accounting software desirable
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Experience in the Healthcare, charity sector or education desirable.
