They are looking for someone with maintenance, installation or good general DIY skills to work as an Installer to support their UK customers. There's a salary of up to £38,000 (depending on experience) and benefits include a company vehicle, bonus, tablet, laptop, mobile, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, free parking and a pension.
What will you be doing as an Installer:
The role will involve regular site visits to customers across the UK to help install the company's products. Duties will include:
- Visiting customer sites for general installation and some basic maintenance work
- Installation work including a mixture of joinery and basic electrical work
- Fixing installations to walls, ceilings and floors as required
- Providing basic product training to customers
- Basic equipment servicing (training provided)
- As well as working at customer sites, you will also assist in the company's head office
- Full product training will be provided
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in a similar role such as Installer, Shopfitter, Handyman, Maintenance Assistant, or Joiner or possibly a Maintenance Engineer or similar
- Strong all round DIY skills including the ability to carry out some basic joinery is essential
- A basic understanding of electrical work: the role doesn't require experience as an electrician
- Full current driving licence
- Able to work in a role that involves travel and overnight stays
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Either currently have or be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Confident and friendly character
