Hays are delighted to represent a leading NI firm, currently seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team in Belfast.
Your new role
You will handle a variety of residential and commercial property transactions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for the firm's clients. Duties include:* Manage a caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing files from inception to completion.
- Provide expert legal advice on property transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including title investigations and searches.
- Draft and review contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure timely and effective communication.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
- Resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the conveyancing process.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful candidate, you will be qualified in Northern Ireland as a practising solicitor and have practical experience, alongside:* Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures in Northern Ireland.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using conveyancing software and other legal technology.
