Harper Macleod are currently seeking a Finance Support Apprentice to join their Tax team, working within their Private Client department. You will be working for an award-winning legal firm who are also well renowned for their work with apprentices.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsible for managing and overseeing tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting both internal teams and clients with tax matters. Using Amicus, you will store all client information.
- Inputting all relevant information to HMRC's Trust Registration Service.
- Maintain accurate records of all tax-related documents, including receipts, forms, and filings on Elite 3E. By the end of your apprenticeship, you will become a superuser of this system.
- Diary management using MS Outlook.
- Prepare and consolidate tax packs for clients.
- Maintenance of department control sheets.
- Collaborating with the Tax Team Assistant, when necessary, with new matters instructions; Billing Guides etc.

- Attention to detail and accuracy when working with data
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and in writing
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines under pressure
- Ability to use initiative and to work both independently and as part of a team
Salary: £19,838 per annum.
Working week: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Future prospects:
Should you perform well in this role there is an opportunity for you to take up a permanent position at the end of your qualification. Many of our previous apprentices are still with the company. Future salary will be discussed should you be offered a permanent role.
