We are looking for an Interim Accounts Receivable Assistant to join on a Fixed Term Contract basis for 9 months.
£26,000 + Hybrid working (3 days a month in the office) + Generous benefits package
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
- Meet cash & debtor day targets
- Proactively chase overdue invoices by email and letter
- Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
- Generate sales invoices and post to ledger
- Post payments to accounts and allocate as required
- Account reconciliations
- Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met
- Send out monthly client statements/letters
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients
- Process internal corrections and inter-company invoices
- Complete credit check for new clients
Person specification:
- Previous experience in a finance role - Preference
- Team player
- Adaptable & flexible
- High attention to detail
- Quick learner
- Confident communicator
- Willing to learn
- Self-starter and proactive attitude
- Positive character
- Able to start ASAP!
