The Company:

CMG Technologies are recruiting for an financial controller to join our team who's factory is based in Rendlesham, Ipswich, Suffolk.

CMG Technologies, part of the IndoMIM group are renowned specialists in Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) and Metal 3D Printing, providing high-quality components to a widely diversified range of customers and industries. This role offers you a unique opportunity to develop and grow our business.

The role:

We are looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic, and energetic individual to lead our internal Finance team.

As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in our senior leadership team in providing an efficient and high-quality service to the business. This role will be reporting to the Directors of the business on a regular basis and working closely with our external advisers, accountants, and auditors to provide quarterly and annual reports to our parent company.

What is required of you:

  • Maintenance of the purchase and sales ledger
  • Uploading invoices to Dext and Cin7 systems
  • Processing of weekly BACS runs
  • Reconciliation of all bank accounts within Xero
  • Collation and processing of staff expense claims
  • Processing of monthly employee wages payments, HMRC payments and pension uploads
  • Collation and posting of credit card receipts and reconciling on Xero
  • Assisting with credit control
  • Supporting the Directors and external accountants with ad-hoc tasks
  • Preparing and presenting monthly financial information to Directors and parent company
  • Stock accounting and reporting
  • Budgeting, cash flow forecasting and planning
  • Monitoring key financial metrics including company cash flow
  • Assisting with ad hoc reporting requirements from parent company

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Essential:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Experience with Xero (or similar) and Microsoft Excel
  • Good level of organisational skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in a similar finance position is desirable
