Location: Fakenham
Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Job Summary:
This is a varied and challenging role working to support the sales team. Main responsibilities include:
Day to day of the role:
- Serve as the first point of contact for inbound calls related to sales and customer service.
- Make daily outbound calls to a designated customer database to gather weekly order requirements.
- Process purchase orders and adhere to company procedures and processes, including customer complaint handling and installation bookings.
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers to support sales.
- Provide administrative assistance to Area Sales Managers.
- Update and maintain our CRM system and customer special price lists.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to meet customers' needs and expectations, such as liaising with the supply chain and obtaining PODs.
- Analyse customer spend and product portfolios to assist Area Sales Managers.
- Contribute to delivering our strategy and growth aspirations for 2024 and beyond.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales administration and customer service.
- A pleasant disposition with a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, and reliable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with CRM systems.
