The client is ideally seeking a candidate that has worked in an SME that wants to get involved in a broad range of tasks especially purchase ledger. Job Description:
You will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department with a high emphasis on the purchase ledger side so experience of high volume invoice processing is essential. You will more than likely be studying for your AAT.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Experience of inter-company transactions
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Reconciling bank statements and ledgers
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
- Performing other accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimumof 2 years of accounting experience essential within Purchase Ledger
- Proficiency in accounting software ideally Xero
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
