Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver impactful children's social care services as part of a collaborative team, aiming to improve outcomes for looked after children.
- Efficiently manage caseloads, considering your experience, grade, and case complexity.
- Apply specialised knowledge to provide tailored interventions, assessments, care planning, and support for looked after children.
- Conduct thorough assessments using child-centred, community-focused, and multi-agency interventions to foster positive changes.
- Ensure the protection and support of looked after children in line with departmental policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Identify and assess levels of risk and need, delivering protective or supportive services accordingly.
- Attend various meetings, including looked after children reviews and court hearings.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Substantial post-qualifying experience within a statutory Children's Looked After role in the UK Social Care sector.
- SWE Registration
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying experience within the UK
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (facilitated by us if needed)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
