About the role:
The role is a pivotal role within the housing community. Work as a member of a team responsible for the day-to-day repairs, void management and maintenance work through the management of the organisation's external contracts.
About you:
- Possessing technical knowledge adequate for supporting the execution of a comprehensive and intricate maintenance and repair program across various property types.
- Proficient in Health & Safety legislation, Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) pertinent to urban estate management, and high-rise buildings.
- Skilled in conducting property inspections and formulating work specifications, coordinating appointments with residents and contractors, directing contractors, negotiating costs, and supervising repairs to completion.
- In-depth understanding of Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations and their application in projects.
- Familiar with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), performance management, and service standard assessment.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and organising a variety of activities.
- Attentive to detail with the ability to verify information.
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities to engage with customers in diverse situations.
- Robust verbal communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
- Proficient written communication skills for report writing and data analysis to pinpoint issues, discern patterns, and suggest actions.
- Well-versed in IT systems, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities to deduce multiple issues from collected data.
- Focused on customer service with a strong commitment to achieving excellence in all duty areas.
- Dedicated to providing and advancing superior service in a client-oriented setting.
- Flexible with a proactive 'can do' approach.
