Our client, a leading organisation in the electrical manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tendering Administrator to join their team in Chippenham. This is a temporary position offering flexible part-time hours- 19 hours per week.
As a Tendering Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's tendering process by effectively managing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Utilising SAP system for order entry and administration purposes.
Processing repairs and spare part quotations accurately.
Coordinating with factories and couriers to expedite the arrival of items.
Maintaining up-to-date records and documentation related to the tendering process.
Timely and accurate communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Collaborating with the sales team to ensure accurate and efficient handling of tender documents.
Providing general administrative support as required.
To excel in this role, you should possess excellent organisational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in processing quotations and order entries. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for liaising with various stakeholders. Proficiency in using SAP or a similar system is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Experience in tendering or similar processes will be advantageous, but not essential. A proactive and self-motivated attitude, along with the ability to work well as part of a team, is essential for success in this role.
