Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their company based near Witham, Essex.
The role entails (but is not limited to):
- Troubleshooting client issues via remote access software and the telephone.
- Site visits as required to implement fixes or troubleshoot issues that cannot be done remotely.
- Keeping polices and procedures up-to-date to include best practices and ideas.
- Managing projects such as server migration, telephone and network infrastructure and ad hoc projects as required.
- Managing the Remote Management Module console.
- Escalation of any issues as required.
- This role can be full-time or part-time with the hours being 20 to 37.5 each week.
A successful candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A full driving licence and access to their own car.
- Willing to be flexible when required for pre-scheduled weekend work.
- An advanced level of understanding of Networking and client operating systems.
- An advanced level of understanding of various Network devices and server operating systems.
- Have a good diagnostic methodology and experience in troubleshooting.
The salary for this position is dependent on experience, but between £30,000 - £35,000.
