Employee Relations Advisor

I am looking to speak to enthusiastic Employee Relations Specialists looking for their next opportunity – joining a growing ER & Policy Team in Bristol!

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will lead on ER cases and provide expert advice on employee relations, employment law, and change management. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on Performance Management: Guide on managing underperformance, including Performance Improvement Plans, hearings, and appeals.
  • Leading Disciplinary and Grievance Cases: Manage the overall process, including complex investigations and creating high-standard reports.
  • Supporting HR and Business Stakeholders: Offer high-quality advice on a wide range of ER issues, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Coaching and Influencing: Mentor HR teams, line managers, and senior leaders on best practices in ER.
  • Developing and Delivering Training: Create and deliver training sessions on ER issues.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Utilize your extensive ER experience to enhance our services.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Deep Technical Expertise: Significant experience in employee relations, particularly with senior colleagues.
  • Exceptional Stakeholder Management: Professional representation of the ER function.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to simplify complex information for various stakeholders.
  • Strong People Management Skills: Proven track record of driving team performance and engagement.
  • Collaborative Approach: Proactive in working with colleagues to co-create solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tight deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Advantageous Experience: Handling international ER matters is a plus.
