The

Event Sales Manager

will manage the sales process from beginning to end as the first point of contact for all enquiries and will help each client through the initial stages of their enquiry, ensure that correspondence is carefully and thoroughly managed and that the expectations of the client are met at each stage of the sales process. Will also work closely with the operations team and ensure that events are handed over smoothly, without disruption to the client.

  • Systematic and organised approach to all areas of work.
  • Strong written and spoken communication and an enthusiasm to demonstrate this in client facing situations.
  • Excellent time management and an ability to prioritise effectively.
  • An understanding of the sales process and how to attract new business.
  • A flair for networking and an enthusiasm to meet new people.
  • An ability to self-motivate and capable of working with and without close supervision.
  • A tendency to be inquisitive and to investigate new ideas and opportunities willingly.
  • Proficiency in word, excel, PowerPoint and a familiarity with Caterease or other event/catering CRM system.
