The Role

We require a talented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team and be involved in the completion of an innovative and novel system.

This project-based role focuses on finalising electrical systems for our unique, patented system, preparing it for FAT testing and subsequent shipment to a high-profile German customer. This role offers the potential for extension or even a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalise electrical systems for FAT testing.
  • Ensure seamless integration of sensors. camera systems, enclosures, associated component placements, and wiring.
  • Work efficiently on part-finished projects, identifying and completing necessary tasks.
  • Prepare systems for shipment and potentially travel to Germany for installation and commissioning support. * This is not essential, but it would extend the contract and ensure support for the installation and commissioning teams.

Required Skills:

  • Electrical Design Experience: Proficient in designing electrical systems.
  • Electrical Safety Systems: Knowledge of safety PLCs, safety relays, light curtains, etc.
  • Practical Experience: Skilled in panel wiring and fault finding.
  • Project Management: Ability to take on part-finished projects and complete them efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong ability to convey technical information clearly and unambiguously.

Desirable:

  • Willingness to travel to Germany to assist with installation and commissioning, would be great.
