CMA is pleased to be exclusively assisting a prosperous organisation to recruit for an interim Management Accountant to cover for 3 months over a busy period.
Key responsibilities will include
Collaborating closely with department heads to provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements and ensuring smooth, timely month-close process.
What will the interim Management Accountant role involve?
- Full reconciliations of balance sheet and GL accounts including fixed asset register, cap table, inventory on a monthly basis.
- Maximise use of the ERP & CRM systems – SAGE 200c, working with external and internal stakeholders in process improvement under supervision of the Finance Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of period management accounts, financial statements, and reports.
- Oversee supplier statement reconciliations, acting quickly to remedy any discrepancies.
Suitable Candidate for the interim Management Accountant vacancy:
- Qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or qualified by experience.
- Previous experience of SAGE 200 (and preferably Power BI).
- Experience working in a manufacturing / engineering / construction environment.
