An established accountancy firm in Ashford is looking to further strengthen its team with an experienced Client Accountant.
Responsibilities for the role of Client Accountant
- Play a crucial role in the team by supporting a diverse client portfolio
- Lead the preparation of statutory accounts, handle account preparation, attend client meetings, and work closely with the engagement partner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
- Review account files and assist with tax planning processes
- Provide mentorship to junior staff through constructive feedback and knowledge-sharing
- Evaluate current processes and implement more efficient service delivery methods
- Contribute to growth by networking regularly and proposing innovative ideas for expansion
Person Specifications for the Role of Client Accountant
- Must have previous experience in building and supporting a diverse portfolio of clients
- Experience in leading preparation for accounts and reports
- Attention to detail
- You will need to be an excellent communicator
- The ability to build and nurture business relationships
- You will be highly self-driven and attuned to collaborative client relationships
- Ability to coach others for the greater good of the team
