We are seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Woking. This role involves teaching students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, providing them with a high-quality language education and fostering a love for Spanish culture and language.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, ensuring alignment with curriculum guidelines.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Develop and implement interactive learning methods and resources to maintain student interest and engagement.
  • Maintain classroom discipline, upholding school policies and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school training events, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Continuously update teaching practices and materials in response to new research and educational trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
  • Experience teaching Spanish at secondary school level, specifically KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong understanding of the Spanish language and culture.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and ability to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
