Our client, a leading technology company, is currently seeking a Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team. This is a contract position based in Solihull, where you will be working full-time on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the manufacturing process engineering activities
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes
- Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality and regulatory standards
- Participate in product development projects and provide input on design for manufacturability
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process failures
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies
- Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives
- Ability to analyse data and identify opportunities for optimization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
