Your Role

You are a Designer with a compelling portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual and design skills.

You'll be comfortable taking the creative lead on a wide variety of projects, from conception to completion whilst collaborating with the wider team to create and deliver work across multiple platforms that are not only creatively and conceptually strong but that align with strategy, are on-brand and effective across all channels.

Key Accountabilities

As a Graphic Designer, you will:

  • Create innovative and compelling designs
  • Effectively determine the requirements from briefs
  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  • Prepare drafts and present ideas
  • Work with copywriters and stakeholders to produce final designs
  • Produce designs across various media
  • Amend designs according to feedback
  • Ensure graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Contribute to brainstorming and idea generation sessions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Creative / agency background
  • Conceptual creativity and visualizing skills
  • Design for print, digital and branding
  • Effective communicator, managing priorities across stakeholders
  • Managing the design process from start to finish
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects – work prioritization, planning and task delegation
  • Results oriented, effectively prioritizing and multitasking, able to work with tight deadlines
  • Ability to estimate own workload and support the client services team in developing proposals for new projects
  • Fluency in English written and spoken, other languages are a plus

Skills & Experience

Essential skills – you will have:

  • A well-crafted portfolio featuring a range projects and disciplines
  • Expert using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Conceptually focused with an ability to consider every option when presenting ideas and information
  • Ability to adapt to various visual identity systems
  • A desire to help others understand important, complex topics
  • A growth mentality – hungry to collaborate, adapt and show initiative
  • Motivated by working for a business with a strong social conscience
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated – comfortable working in a small team, across multiple locations
  • A meticulous eye for detail – working to the highest standards
  • Awareness of the changing trends and innovations within the design and digital community
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience of working in a creative / agency organization
  • Share our values and work ethic
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills – able to be flexible when the needs of the business change
  • Time management – able to meet deadlines
  • Experience working on international projects, where a proficient level of English (written and oral) is required to communicate with colleagues and clients
  • Degree-level education

Desirable skills – you will have:

  • Experience creating compelling designs in PowerPoint
  • An understanding of motion design – using After Effects, Premiere Pro or equivalent
  • Other languages (French, German...) are a plus but not essential

Working model: hybrid with Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Bristol office
