I am seeking staff for the roles below. As I am on annual leave from Tuesday 6th August, time is of the essence. You will need UK schools experience and be happy to either provide a DBS that is on the update service OR happy to apply for a new one. Whilst experience of working in a special school would be advantageous, it is not essential.
Pay rates, well above minimum wage. From £90 to begin with, reaching £115+ a day.
Bilston special school:
Two TAs to work within an established class team of 5 staff to support a class of 9 pupils with SLD /ASD (severe learning difficulties and Autism spectrum disorder) needs, age range: Yr10-Yr14. The school can provide training on PROACT Scip and alternative communication strategies for interested staff. Initially looking for staff until Christmas 2024 (commencing on 2nd Sept 2024).
South Wolverhampton Special School:
Supporting an EY group of children with complex medical and behavioural needs. 8 pupils in class with a full-time class teacher and 4 other full-time TAs. To start in September 2024 until February half-term in the first instance. Someone with EY experience preferably.
Halesowen Special School:
Seeking a full-time and part-time TA to support children at school. Based in either KS1 or KS4 group, a maximum of 8 pupils per class. Children have a range of moderate learning difficulties with accompanying SEMH needs. To commence September 2024 until July 2025.
Walsall Special School:
Secondary specialist SEN school in Walsall, seeking a TA 4-5 days a week. Supporting a group of KS3 pupils who have an ECH plan for ASD and associated behavioural issues. Small group of children (4 pupils in class) with 3 other members of staff.
