This project embodies the latest in residential design and amenities.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager on a freelance basis to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retirement village project in Chester. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in residential construction, with a proven ability to manage site activities efficiently and ensure that the project meets quality, safety, and timeline objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  2. Manage subcontractors and site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  3. Ensure all site activities adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices.
  4. Monitor project progress, address any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  5. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
  6. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

  1. Extensive experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on residential projects.
  2. Proven track record of successfully managing construction sites and ensuring project delivery on time and within budget.
  3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and industry best practices.
  4. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
