Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager on a freelance basis to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retirement village project in Chester. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in residential construction, with a proven ability to manage site activities efficiently and ensure that the project meets quality, safety, and timeline objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Manage subcontractors and site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure all site activities adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Monitor project progress, address any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on residential projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction sites and ensuring project delivery on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
