The Team & Focus of the Role
We're looking to welcome a new colleague into our finance team!
We're looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Controller to join the small & friendly team in our Head Office in Ashby de la Zouch. Joining a team of 7, this role will ideally suit you if you're detail orientated, enjoy working in a vibrant & social office and always give a first-class experience to the wider business.
This is a full-time, permanent role and the hours will be 08.45 - 17.15 Monday to Friday although there is flexibility with these timings as long as our core hours are covered & we operate a hybrid working policy.
In return, beyond your base salary you will be included in:

Duties will include:
- Daily banking and bank reconciliations
- Monthly control account reconciliations
- Preparing and distributing reports showing the ageing of sales ledger debt
- Maintaining the cashbook
- Recording day to day incoming and outgoing payments and other financial transactions on Dimensions
- Liaising with other business areas to allocate cash received correctly
- Allocating cash promptly and correctly, including liaising with other business areas to ensure that all cash received is allocated
- Ad hoc projects as required
The successful candidate will have...
- Previous experience within a similar role
- High attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong use of Microsoft Packages - especially Excel
- Competent IT skills
