An opportunity has arisen in the Housing Maintenance Section for a Damp, Mould and Repairs Supervisor based at our client's Hawks Green Depot. As part of a team of supervisors, the successful applicant will play a critical role in ensuring sufficient resources are allocated across the service to meet delivery targets especially in relation to Damp, Mould and Condensation issues.
Ideally the successful applicant will have experience of managing a multi-skilled building maintenance team and should have experience of Damp and Mould inspections and using computerised management systems including mobile working.
In addition you will have communication skills sufficient to effectively deal with colleagues and customers both internally and externally and have the ability to make robust decisions in demanding situations.
You should hold a relevant technical qualification in a Construction related subject and in addition be able to demonstrate a professional knowledge in Property Repair and Maintenance as well as knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations.
Previous experience of managing contracts and networking and partnership working skills as well as being qualified to undertake Damp, Mould and Condensation assessments would be advantageous.
This role would be ideal for candidates currently working as a Property Maintenance Manager, Repairs and Maintenance Supervisor, Building Maintenance Supervisor, Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, Construction Supervisor (specialising in Damp and Mould Control), or Housing Repairs Team Leader.
