The role of Project Manager
Our prestigious client who are finance industry leaders, have an exciting new position for a Project Manager to join their team to work on a major digital transformation programme, implementing a brand-new end to end CRM System. This is a fixed term contract over a 2-year duration, that will see the successful candidate doing 1-2 days in the office in Carnary Wharf, with the rest of their time worked remotely.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the business-wide strategic project's initiation, planning, design, and delivery and of intended benefits across the organisation and wider community. While technically complex, the key focus will be driving business change to improve operations and deepen understanding of stakeholder relationships, leveraging these connections for optimal impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive Project Initiation Document
  • Collaborate with delivery partners, system suppliers, and internal teams to steer the project through its lifecycle for seamless CRM system implementation
  • Create and maintain a robust plan while managing interdependencies, resources, and constraints
  • Actively engage and communicate with all stakeholders to champion business change adoption
  • Embed new capabilities introduced by the project into organisational processes
  • Provide high-quality reporting on project progress to the PMO and Executive Team
  • Understand and manage project impact, aligning the CRM project with other transformational initiatives

About You
This role will suit a Project Manager who has well established experience in the finance industry, or a good understanding of internal finance functions, when working across business systems and end to end CRM's. A person who is dynamic, ambitious and keen to add value and make a difference. You must also have the following skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, processes, and standards, such as Agile, PRINCE2, MSP and change management frameworks and techniques
  • Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders
  • Experience of successfully delivering large-scale and cross-organisational CRM platform implementation projects
  • Prior experience in using Project planning software like Microsoft Project, Project Online, Monday.com
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities, demonstrating a detailed comprehension of Dynamics 365
  • Proven experience in guiding teams to adopt best practices and leverage new functionalities is essential for this role
  • Knowledge of Cloud based technologies, ideally MS Azure
