Property Sales Negotiator

Talent-UK are recruiting for a Sales Negotiator in Leeds city centre vibrant Estate Agents, sales are predominantly in the city, although their area covers properties outside the centre as far afield as Garforth and Wetherby.

Due to a recent sales acquisition, they have created a new vacancy for a Sales Negotiator/Progressor. Experience preferred but would also consider someone with the right qualities (strong communication skills, enjoys being part of an important team, good at negotiating, able to multi-task, pays particular attention to detail, sound at objection handling, and with a good track record of accurately completing administration tasks).

There is no commission ceiling. We would expect the Sales Negotiator to complete a minimum of 5 sales per month bringing them the potential to earn commission of £450 + pcm. Once established in their role we would be expecting monthly sales completions to double. There is also the opportunity to receive additional commission on mortgage and conveyancing referrals.

Full clean driving licence for a manual car essential. They have two wrapped manual lease cars for work use only. Please note however there are no parking facilities at the office.

Duties:

  • Register applicants and match applicants to properties.
  • Supervision of an effective applicant database, ensuring regular contact is made with all prospective applicants.
  • Achieve pre-agreed targets.
  • Booking viewings and valuations appointments
  • Correctly record all messages, viewings and appointments.
  • Arrange and attend viewings
  • Following up valuations and leads both face to face and over the telephone, or through email and letters.
  • Negotiating sales
  • Closing deals
  • Liaising with solicitors, purchasers and vendors for successful progression of the sale through to completion.
  • Updating vendors on their property including any possible interest, marketing and actions completed. Also ensuring they are aware of the current property market and trends.
  • Assist with market appraisals as and when required.
  • Ensure all sales fall in line with legislation
  • Business Development to source sale instructions from developers to home owners.
  • Generate new and repeat business opportunities for market appraisals, instructions, viewing and sales.
  • Support line manager on valuations and new instructions.
  • Canvassing / leafleting to seek new business opportunities including targeting competitors.
  • Maintain office systems/software and working procedures.
  • Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and provide a first class level of customer service at all times.
  • Attend all meetings and training courses as required by your Line Manager.
  • Ensure effective teamwork and co-operation with yourself and other members of staff.
  • Take precautions to ensure the security of yourself at all times and other team members as appropriate.
