Lead Sustainability Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplined consultancy who work on various BREEAM and Net-zero projects across the UK. Their Sustainability team is expanding and are looking for a Lead Sustainability Consultant to take charge of their various projects and support the more junior colleagues in their office in London.
Role responsibilities for a Lead Sustainability Consultant will be:
- Provide technical support to shape sustainability strategies
- Work alongside the consulting team to implement and achieve sustainability targets for projects
- Lead projects to ensure sustainability targets are met and mentor the more junior members of the team
- Manage the sustainability team with project governance, forecasting, and bidding processes
- Identify new areas of business and win projects to ensure the client stays ahead of the curve in regards to sustainability
The ideal Lead Sustainability Consultant will have:
- Degree within a sustainability, environmental management, or geography field
- 5 years minimum as a sustainability consultant within the construction industry
- Relevant experience delivering BREEAM schemes as a qualified BREEAM Assessor
- Previous experience leading on projects and mentoring junior staff members
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
