Description
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Handle the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and readily available when needed
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to drive efficiency and productivity
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
Profile
A successful Finance Officer should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Experience of preparation of month-end management accounts / reporting
- Experience of year-end statutory reporting
- Experience in construction industry would be beneficial
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- A strong understanding of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP)
- Proficiency in major accounting software packages
