We are seeking a responsible Administrative Assistant to provide efficient administrative support in a well-organised and timely manner. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations within our office, handling a variety of tasks from screening calls to managing correspondence and maintaining administrative systems.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Screen and direct telephone calls, handle queries, and take messages where appropriate.
- Schedule and resolve queries from customers.
- Organise correspondence for live projects, including preparing letters, reports, liaising with onsite staff, suppliers, and clients, and printing drawings.
- Maintain office procedures and administrative systems, such as filing and completing incoming and outgoing Health & Safety paperwork.
- Provide back office support to ensure operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong research, digestion, analysis, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
